Worst Pet Insurance Ever!

Pets Best is the worst insurance ever. They constantly deny legit claims. Their CS is terrible. They take for ever if there is a claim they have to pay. Do not EVER buy this insurance.

Service is good but premium is a rip off!

My claim was from previous insurance term. It was treated as of surgery date that means it was not included this year's deductible amount and received my claim quickly. This rate could be 5 stars, but premium increase rate is around 35% that is way above the normal. I am seriously considering to change the Firm. $70 for basic insurance of 2.5 years old mini dog is too much!

I have submitted the same claim for my…

I have submitted the same claim for my dogs pancreas medications for about a year without any problems or issues getting paid. I submitted the same original paperwork since last year on 8-9-24 and re submitted everything again on 9--9-24! It already takes 45 days to get paid back. I spend $700 a month and this time its going to take over 90 days to get any money back. This time the process was terrible. I called into customer service twice, the first person who helped me was not very friendly and I feel she made the issue take longer on purpose! I would cancel my policy and go to another company if it were not for my dogs pre existing conditions!!! I referred two clients to you guys the past month and wish I would not have! The entire claim process for this was a joke & I am the one paying for it (still will not get my reimbursement for another 45 days!)

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
