A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR FUR BABY

I purchased this insurance for Luna as soon as I got her home from the breeder. The entire process was very simple and I loved that I could pick a plan to fit my needs for Luna. It’s been a year now and I’ve sent in several claims and they were very quick to respond and direct deposit is the way to go. Highly recommend PETS BEST thank you for helping me keep Luna healthy

Convenient and Prompt

What made my experience great was that I didn't have to do much. I went to your website, chose my options from drop down menus, and uploaded the invoice from my vet. I thought it was going to be months before I heard back, but it was just a few days.

I was disappointed that my deductible…

I was disappointed that my deductible was taken twice on the same claim. The reason said was that the blood work for the surgery missed the yearly deadline by two weeks. I wasn't aware of the deadline. So out of a claim of over $1100.00 only $200 was paid. I understand about the dental cleaning while the tooth was being extracted wasn't covered. Still felt that the insurance wasn't worth having.

PetsBest was phenomenal for our beloved…

PetsBest was phenomenal for our beloved dog Kiwi. Their customer service was efficient and friendly, live support gave us advice and peace of mind after hours, and their reimbursement process was simple and smooth. But most of all, having pet insurance meant anytime Kiwi got into mischief (8 plus times), or suffered life threatening emergencies (2), or needed a ligament repair in her old age, we didn’t have to hesitate. We could have those procedures, treatments, surgeries, and hospital stays for about 10% of the costs thanks to our 90% reimbursement elective. This enabled us to provide our pup Kiwi with the best medicinal care, and save her life when she was septic! We got a whole extra year with our elderly lady after that, and she got to enjoy one last cross country trip with us. We are thankful for PetsBest and I recommend them to all of my friends and family. As I have had two other pet insurance providers in the past, and they didn’t like to cover much and it was a stressful struggle. I didn’t have any of that stress with the team at Pets Best. Thank you from my family and Angel Kiwi for all your help over the years!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
