Thank You Pets Best!!

I am so grateful to Pets Best Insurance. I insured my Golden Retriever Barney when he was 13.5 years old – my vet could not believe that an insurance company would even accept a pet at this advanced age! Five months later Barney was diagnosed with melanoma, & the vet bills have been substantial (we live in NY where the cost of everything is astronomical!) Pets Best Insurance has fully covered 80% of Barney’s vet invoices, & this has alleviated the financial strain of his illness. I am also delighted to say that Barney is doing very well & is enjoying his doggie life! When the time comes to get a new pup, I plan to insure him immediately with Pets Best. Peace of mind, as they say, really is priceless. I am so impressed with this company that I requested their brochures to give to all of my doggie clients as well as to Barney’s many vets. Pets Best is wonderful

I have had Pets Best for several years and the process is very easy. I am reimbursed within a week to 2 weeks and it is always correct. The Customer Service is always responsive; there is never a wait to get help. I think they're great.

This is one incredible pet insurance company!

The policies at Pets Best Insurance are fair,the personnelreview claims immediately upon submission, and the Company pays the amount due the provider or pet owner promptly. Having the ability to pay the veterinarian directly is definitely a plus.

We love Pets Best!

We've had Pets Best insurance for our two dogs for more than 3 years, and it has been totally worth it. We started with them when we got our German Shepherd puppy, and we please to discover that they would also cover our older dog who was 8 at the time. Pets Best responds quickly to all claims, and they are consistent in their evaluations. We are very happy with our decision to insure our beloved pets with Pets Best.

So far not much help

We submitted our first claim with Pets Best and were told that nothing could be covered because his symptoms/diagnosis existed previous to our receiving coverage which is false. We have heard good things about Pets Best but I might just start putting aside money on a monthly basis instead of giving it to a company that doesn't even end up helping when needed.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
