Pets Best is the BEST!

Pets Best Insurance is awesome!!! They are so quick to process your claim and get you reimbursed for you out of pocket expenses in a very timely manner. My nine year old dog, Brando, tore his ACL and had to have over $4500 in surgery and associated costs. I had the reimbursement check back from Pets Best w/in two weeks!! Even before his stitches were removed, they had sent me a check! Wonderful service.....terrific customer service....and all around awesome insurance company.

Recent Claim

The recent claim (the first I have filed) was turned around in an expedient time frame. I don't like that my dog was ill, but it was helpful to receive back a portion of the money that I spent.

Pets Best = Peace of Mind: I highly recommend

I am impressed with Pets Best quick payment and great customer service. Recently my cat Bucket got very sick. Pets Best paid the claims quickly and there were no hassles. It's very stressful when a pet gets sick. Now, I at least have the comfort of Pets Best Insurance. Now Bucket is almost as good as new and I'm recommending Pets Best to everyone I know. It really makes me feel good that there are companies like Pets Best out there. Thank Pets Best! Marla

Awesome coverage

My dog was bitten on the tongue by a rattlesnake on April 1/2. He was saved after two days in the emergency hospital, and the bill was slightly over $3,000.00. PetsBest had a check to me within about 10 days of receiving my paperwork. It amounted to almost $2400.00, 80% of the bill minus the $18.00 bio-hazzard fee and the $100 deductible. They are awesome!!!!! Whereas some companies only pay a set amount that they think it is worth, PetsBest pays based upon the actual bill. They were fast and paid as agreed. I wouldn't hesitate to insure with them continuously for any of my pets. I highly recommend PetsBest. And it is helpful to be quickly able to check the progress of the claim. Awesome company.

Pleasantly surprised

I have been meaning to write this for some time. I took out a policy for my dog, Sophie, last fall. She had been in good health from the time I adopted her. Sophie is now about 10-years old. Last November she suddenly developed a liver infection and required hospitalization,fluids, antibioics and other medications. The bill initially was close to $3000. I filed a claim and was relieved (and surprised)to receive a generous claims check even though I had paid only one premium. I hope Sophie stays well but have peace of mind knowing she is covered by Pet's Best Insurance. MBY in Maryland

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
