Pets Best Insurance IS the BEST!!

My dog had a broken tooth which was broken up inside the gum, so it was loose. I took him to the vet & was told it wasn't a simple extraction, it was a surgical procedure & needed to be done right away or it could abcess. Surgery was performed, and turned out there was also an infection. I paid the bill, which was over $800, including a deep cleaning while he was under anesthesia. I submitted claim to Pets Best, and after they contacted me a couple of times to request some past vet records & ask a couple of questions, I received a check for $600!! Pets Best paid for everything except the deep teeth cleaning, & less the $100 deductible!! Needless to say, I was thrilled. I also have another dog with Pets Best Insurance, and he developed a rough bump on his chest. I took him to the vet, and he is being treated for dermatitis. He has had a few vet visits & medication, and Pets Best has reimbursed me for almost all of the cost. I have always been hesitant to get pet insurance, but decided to jump in and give it a try, hoping I wouldn't be wasting my money, and I must say, I made the right decision by going with Pets Best Insurance!

Pets Best "is the best"!

I have had two claims with "Pets Best". Their customer service is excellent. I always get someone who "actually" answers the phone! Yeah, that is unusual in this day and time. They are professional, extremely helpful and caring. I highly recommend them.

Another great experience

We submitted two claims. One through fax from the vets office and the other through the mail. They are very quick, you just need to make sure you show you paid. The one time there was an issue they contacted me immediately and told me what I needed to do. They now are familiar with our issue so there are no issues.

THIS is the BEST!

I was confused by all the pet plans online, but luckily picked Pets Best for my old dog. I filed one claim and the service was SO excellent that i cancelled the insurance I had for my other dog and switched her too to Pets Best. I just filed my second claim and it was processed within 24 hours!!! I have recommended this plan to office workers in my vet's office and to many other friends.It is so reassuring to know my precious dogs are insured by the very BEST!

Great Customer Service!!!

I have had Pets Best for a couple years now and suddenly my monthly rate went up. I called and the service and sales agents were amazingly helpful and quickly got me into a better and more affordable policy for my pet. WONDERFUL experience.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
