Pets Best really is the best

Pets Best has good plans at a reasonable price. The resources online and the website are clear and easily navigated. Customer service is top notch - I always get a prompt and friendly answer to any question I may have. Their claim process is extremely easy and they definitely make it super simple to utilize your benefits. I highly recommend them!

I continue to be wowed!

This isn't my first review of Pet's Best, but I am so very pleased with their continued customer service and caring ways. I've had my policy since 2011 and only just recently needed it for a dog with a chronic, sometimes very fatal illness. Every single claim is uploaded with veterinary discharge instructions and explanation via their easy to use online portal and every single one has been paid without question or delay (now totaling over $6800). Any questions I have along the way are answered with one phone call placed to their 800# and are always quickly answered and fielded by a courteous, knowledgeable and compassionate agent on the other end of the line. The coverages are fair and their site is easy to use and navigate. I'll always be a loyal customer and I continue to rave about Pet's Best to anyone who will listen!!

I always recommend PetsBest

I've lost 3 German Shepherds in the last 4 years, the heartbreak never leaves me, but having their extensive medical bills covered by insurance helps. It's so much easier to rush them to CSU 3 hours away for the best care possible knowing that I have insurance. I would hate to not be able to offer them the best care possible simply because I couldn't afford it. I recommend PetsBest to all my pet loving friends and family.

Amazingly fast and efficient

Excellent coverage and quick turn around time. My 1 y/o Siberian Husky developed cataracts that were operable. The surgery was a success and I was glad to be covered because it made a stressful situation easier to deal with.

Best Pet Insurance Company

We have two policies for our Papillions. Over the past 7 years we have submitted numerous claims and relied on our policies to reimburse us for covered illnesses and injuries. We selected the $250 deductible w/90% coverage. Pets Best has always reimbursed us within 7 days. Last week we were reimbursed $4400 for a claim related to our dog's back surgery. There were no questions asked, no complicated forms to fill out; we simply submitted a claim, uploaded the bills, and awaited reimbursement. Six days later, we were compensated. If you are considering pet insurance, I assure you that you will find peace of mind with Pets Best.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
