Excellent and timely service

Pets Best has been my insurance company for all my cats. There is always someone accessible by phone, email or fax and payments are always timely. If there is ever an error then it is rectified. My previous cat was 8 years old when I adopted him and he passed away at the age of 21 years young. During those years he was always insured with Pets Best. Two years ago I adopted two 3 years old sisters from a shelter and they have been insurance with Pets Best from day one. I recommend Pets Best highly as they are fair, honest and reliable.

Pets Best really is THE BEST

Pets Best, We cannot begin to thank you enough for helping us save our English Bulldog! He became very sick and needed an emergency surgery. As you can imagine, it was extremely expensive. However, we were able to turn to Pets Best and this helped so much financially. We were able to focus on helping our little guy recover, instead of stressing about our finances. Excellent Insurance Company

We've had Pet's Best Insurance for two of our Italian Greyhounds for almost 4 years and have always been very happy with them. Claims are processed very quickly and when I've need to call a representative with a question they have always been not only helpful, but very kind and pleasant to talk with.

Very happy with this provider

My dog was taken to the emergency clinic and racked up an impressive $3K bill due to all the tests, meds and hospitalization stay. We have the emergency insurance option and my claim was processed within 6 business days. I got back the full 80% I was owed in my policy and the money was in my account the next day. I am so relieved I had this insurance or else we'd be in a tough spot

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
