Our 13 Year Old Cat, Bogie, Wa…
Our 13 year old cat, Bogie, was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. From the time that we submitted the initial claim, we had no problems with submitting subsequent claims, since his treatment was ongoing. When it came time to decide whether to use radioactive iodine as a cure, Pets Best representatives were responsive and helpful with making that decision. Bogie is still having follow up blood work for his condition and the claim is being handled quickly and efficiently.

I Hav E A Large Deductible On …
I hav e a large deductible on each pet. I used to hold reporting claims until I met the deductible until I found out about the 180 day filing period.... So now I report as soon as I get the Dr notes. I get an EOB telling me its applied to my deductible but it would be really helpful if you could tell me on the EOB what amount of the deductible is still not satisfied. I believe I should have exceeded the deductible but with two dogs and numerous claims it would be a lot easier if you could just tell me what amount is still pending"

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date.
