Best Pet Insurance

This insurance has been great so far, I've had other policies and shopped around and you cannot beat their service and price. I have had my newest member, our lovely little pup, for 6 months and she unfortunately gotten into something at the park which we then had to rush her to the emergency clinic at 8pm.. I submitted everything to PetsBest and received an email of the EOB within a week or so and I am just now waiting on my check. Every time I need help they are always so friendly and helpful.

No problem, Man. (or woman) U guys are great. I am only sorry that I have to use your services. I would much prefer to just pay my premium and have a healthy pet. I hope to achieve this again, sooner than later.

My dog is healthy because of PetsBest

We have had our dog for almost nine years now, and purchased insurance right after getting him. About a week later, he ate a pin cushion (the cat was trying to kill her new brother) and had to have major surgery. The experience was the same that day as it was last month when Sue had to have his toe amputated: we did not worry about the money we had to spend because we were confident about his insurance. Since the amputation, we have discovered he had a fast moving cancer in that toe. If we had needed to wait to save for the surgery, he may have lost his foot or worse. The claims are easy to file, all correspondence is extremely professional, and the peace-of-mind is priceless! The older he gets, the higher the monthly premium, but the calmer I feel about my baby getting old.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
