Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

The process to file a claim is so easy. I just upload the invoice from the vet and PetsBest does the rest. I get a notification of what is covered and how much. If something is not covered, there is a very clear explanation of why it is not covered and then they provide an option for me to upgrade my insurance if I want to include that for next time. Thank you.

Very satisfied with my claims

Ralphy has been healthy for 8 of his 10 years since adopting him at 1 years old. Having "Pet Insurance" wasn't something we ever thought we would have to think about. One of our children had it for their dog and just mentioned it one day. We started thinking because of his age at the time it might be a good idea. Thankfully, or unfortunately, about 4 months after purchasing Pets Best Ralphy started with a few issues. The process of a claim, the Customer Service and website with helpful hits has been just awesome! We of course pray that Ralphy will be around for a long time and we don't have to file claims and he stays relatively healthy. But, it is comforting to know if we need insurance, it is there! Ralphy has been dealing with a Cyst in one of his legs. This has taken a lot more attention then expected because of complications with the leg tissue to be well enough for an operation to remove it. After TOO MANY months he finally had that surgery! All through the process there were examinations & medications of which we filed and have not been disappointed in the responsiveness from Pets Best or the final decisions on the amounts paid. Thank you Pets Best! Without your part being done well, this could have been a lot more difficult to work through.

If you love your animal as much as I love mine, it's important to take time to select a health insurance plan for them. I have been with Pets Best for over 2 years now. I have had 2 claims, 1 for a case of pancreatitis, which with emergency care would have left me trying to find a way to pay. I have found that it is easy to file a claim, and that the processing if fast (deposited directly to my bank account within a week). There are co-pays or deductibles, but considering what I would have had to pay out of pocket; they were reasonable. I love Pets Best, and I highly recommend them. I have 2 policies, one for annual shots, well checks; and of course the one for injuries or emergency care. An excellent program.
