Great Insurance

Only thing is that they are alittle slow with claims takes about a week and a half.Have been reimbursed for three claims now and everything has been great would definitely recommend.

I Had Noticed An Ugly Abscess On ...

I had noticed an ugly abscess on my little Zoey. It turned out it was a foxtail that had gotten embedded when she did her business on one of our walks. I worried how I was going to pay for the Vet then I remembered I had insurance!!! Pets Best filed my claim quickly and had my re-imbursement to me in no time.

What An Insurance Company Should ...

What an insurance company should be. No hassle they read the vet notes and went from there. My dog, Paxton, had a foxtail embedded in-between his toes. On a Sunday that rates as an emergency.

I'Ve Never Had To Use My Pets Bes...

I've never had to use my Pets Best Insurance before (I've had a sickness-only policy for several years now) and I wasn't sure how to make a claim or how it would proceed. Following the instructions on the web site, it was an easy process and I would recommend that everyone get a policy of some sort to help them, in the event of an unexpected veterinarian bill. This is the first time my cat had gotten an illness that required bloodwork and heart health scan along with some medication while at the vet, besides the physical exam. As everyone knows, there is no other way to have your bills reduced other than an insurance policy and these bills can be quite high when you add in the necessary tests. I mentioned that I had a pet insurance policy while at the veterinarians office and they made sure I had the proper documentation to send in for a claim. Pets Best also contacted my veterinarian for further information and then I just waited for their determination. My claim was processed fairly quickly and money deposited in the account I had specified, easy and appreciated.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
