You never need insurance until you need …

You never need insurance until you need it! We have been with Pet's Best for several years and with multiple dogs, and it is wonderful to know that we can get help with paying our vet's bills. Phone personnel are ALWAYS personable and helpful if any questions arise, and our payments are prompt. Look no further; Pet's Best is the Best!

Pets Best is an AWFUL and deceiving …

Pets Best is an AWFUL and deceiving company. They have a section under the pet section of their website that states, "What's Not Covered: See a FULL list here". This list is not "full" in any way, nor have they indicated that this is not a full list. They blatently deceive their consumers into thinking there is more coverage for their pet than there actually is. I am a licensed insurance agent with Farmers and was actively selling policies under my partner agent for this company. I can tell you that after my experience I would NEVER recommend this company. I would implore any and all individuals with issues to seek out the legal system for help- even if it involves filing a small claims case. I have and cannot wait to have my day in court with these deceitful people. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
