So glad we had PetsBest!

So glad we had PetsBest! My pride and joy decided to be naughty and had to have major surgery to take 5 socks out of his belly. No one ever wants to see their pet in pain or in discomfort, but it was so reassuring to know that Murray would be "covered". I was less stressed about the bills and that let me focus all my attention on his recovery. Thank you for making it so easy and being so responsive.

Smooth to file claims

The claims process was very easy and smooth and I got a response in less than 48 hours! Anything that was not covered was fully explained and the math behind the reimbursement was very easy to follow.

i rec commend pets best to all my friends. i think you have phenomenal customer service. I wish the annual fee did not increase so much each year. I wish we could adjust the coverage the policy without creating a new policy.

Claims process was a breeze

I cannot begin to say how satisfied I was and thankful that I have had this insurance since they were puppies. It certainly paid off. My boy Kodi tore his ACL and meniscus. Surgery that cost about $4500 only ended up paying my copay and deductible. Claim process was a breeze. Thank you Pets Best!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
