Claims report can be confusing.

I was a little confused with the layout of the claims decision. Some money went towards my deductible and I was reimbursed the rest. IT took a few time reading the claims report to understand what money was coming/going where. In the future maybe the claims report can be a little clearer?

Awesome service!

The middle child, Otto; had a torn ACL. We immediately took him to the vet and then he had his surgery a week later. Awesome service! Easy to submit claim online. They do the rest in a timely manner.

Great Pet Insurance

I was not sure if Pet insurance was the best for our two great danes,however I had researched and found out just how expensive their illness and really any procedure could be. Therefore I decided to try Pets Best and was really glad I did. they have very fast service with direct deposit, a low deductible and if you don't understand why something was not paid they will work with you until they change or you understand the EOB. To me that is the most important thing. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and I have to many. Thanks Brenda

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
