Great pet insurance

It's so easy to file a claim online and the reimbursement is in my bank account within days of filing. The explanation of benefits is very easy to read and understand.

Insurance took the pressure off of a stressful time.

Our dog had cancer and after a few procedures they cut it out. All went very well and having great insurance took a lot of pressure off during the stressful time.

Pets Best helps our medical costs.

Very informative on what is covered.

I have had Pets Best ever since my little girl of 10 years old since she was a puppy. we just got another puppy and in the 2 months we have had him he has incurred more cost than she has in over 10 years. He had a cut on his eye and they repaired it, then he broke it open and it started all over again. Pets Best approved all his current invoices for general Vet surfaces. Unfortunately, all his eye surgery invoices were not approved, because it was still within the 14 day wait period (I completely forgot about that) but, Pets Best explained to me why and approved all they could have. Hopefully this is IT for invoices for him for awhile. Thanks Pets Best

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
