Thank you very much for responding to my claim in a timely manner!

This is my first pet and when I had to take Riggs for an emergency visit at the animal hospital, the cost was enormous. I understood the importance of getting pet insurance. Your company had the 5 star ratings and I understand why. The cost, care, and paying attention to responding to claims in a timely manner are exceptional. Cannot say enough

I can not say enough about what Pets Best have done for our dogs this past year. We are now experiencing issues with our older pet but having pet insurance helps deal with the issues much easier. I tell everyone that is a pet parent about Pets Best & the importance of pet insurance. I do not care about referral credit from the company. I just want pet parents to get informed about their pets healthcare and remember they need coverage also.

Response was fast

The response was fast, and it was exactly what my expectations were as it followed my policy. I was very appreciative that it matched up with my policy and there weren't any surprises.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
