I have been so happy with Pets Best!

I have been so happy with Pets Best! Insurance tends to have a very bad rap, so I went into having this insurance with a little bit of skepticism. I had never had insurance before. The claims are easy to file, they are paid quickly, and any dealings with customer service has always been very good! I recommend Pets Best to anybody who asks me about pet insurance.

Claim process easy and straightforward

The claim process and easy and straightforward and a quick turnaround. I submitted the claim on Thursday, got an email that my claim was processed on Monday and payment remitted on Tuesday.

Pets Best is fast, dependable and great.

They make it easy to file claims.and let you know that your claim has been received and being worked on. Pets best is very good in responding to calls and questions. I always recomend them to people at the veterinary hospital, Meridian Canine Rescue and anyone else looking for insurance. Treasure Valley Veterinary recommended them to me.

I have had Pets Best for years

I have had Pets Best for years now and I love them. The process is so easy for filing claims and their customer service is top notch. I recommend them to anyone who has a pet.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
