Pleased with claims

I am very pleased with all the claims I have submitted due to my cat having issues with excessive lucking then being diagnosed with over active thyroid and now allergies to pet food

Pets Best is the BEST and they excel in customer service and knowledge! Easiest Claim processing too and above all, they care!

I have been with Pets Best for about 10 years now for both of my chocolate labs, Finly and Kyla. I have been so worried as they age that I won't be able to give them the proper care. With Pets Best, I have really been able to do what is best for my kids, rather than worry about what I can and can't pay for. The process of submitting a claim is so easy and efficient and the turn around time is outstanding. I didn't understand at first why the rates increased as they age, but now that they are 9 and 12 I realize what is needed for proper care. I am so grateful and the customer service staff are truly exceptional. I always feel like I am being heard and cared for. I always feel like they understand that Finly and Kyla are my children and deserve top quality care. I am grateful and just wanted to share how fortunate I have been to have them behind me over the last 10 years. Many thanks to you all!!

Accidental coverage that did not cover a accident.

Why would you have an accidental coverage policy if it does not cover a real accident? Last time I checked, a dog running and playing and slipping on grass and tearing their ACL was considered an accident.

Thank you Pets Best is always quick to help with medical issues. They are timely with their response and/or communication if they need more information about the claim. I am alway happy to receive reimbursement within a 2 week period.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
