This is the BEST insurance company for your pet. I have had Pets Best for approximately 8 years and couldn’t be more pleased. They are courteous, efficient, helpful, etc., etc.!

My Yorkie-Poo and Morkie say thank you Pets Best. 5 woof woof. The Pomeranian also says Woof

I love this insurance for my pooches. However due to a mistake on my part I have a payment plan with my vet and it makes it very difficult for my claims to be reimbursed. I will call again to see how this can be resolved. I love the customer service and one of the clains was processed without any issues, Thank you for caring for my fur babies.

Pet Insurance is Useful

We purchased pet insurance when we brought home our 8 week old Goldendoodle Duncan. The first year we purchased the wellness package and Accident. Duncan got all of his shots, microchipped and spayed the first year. I tracked all the expenditures and what we were reimbursed and we broke even with the premium spent and what we were reimbursed. This is our second year and we dropped the wellness piece. We still do have the accident piece and I put the premium I was paying for wellness in a separate bank account in case we need it. They always reimbursed us in a timely fashion and I would recommend them.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
