Peace of mind

Is really peace of mind having pet insurance with Pets Best, especially for our loved 9 years old Misty, which is becoming a little fragile, and the easy claiming process is a plus. I am very pleased to have chosen Pets Best.

So happy with our choice

My poor puppy has been through hell and back. Pets Best is literally the only reason we've been able to continue to get him what he needs without being in a completely financial hole. The app is easy to use and your refund typically comes faster than they anticipate. So happy with our choice to go with Pets Best.

If it were not for Pets Best

My 1 1/2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Spirit, swallowed a piece of towel that got lodged in his stomach and small intestine. It became an emergency requiring immediate surgery. It was successfully removed and he spent 4 days in the ER recovering. He is 100% recovered now and doing great. If it were not for Pets Best I'm not sure how we ever could have been financially prepared for this kind of event.

I'm very pleased

I signed up for the illness plan and the wellness plan. After reading the reviews and talking to the staff I felt assured of signing up. I submitted my first two claims, and was as easy as they explained. I was given updates throughout the process and my claims were processed. I'm very pleased with Pet Best Insurance.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
