Completely impressed with Pets Best

Having had other health plans with other dogs, I am completely impressed with Pets Best. I cannot believe how easy the process was...and not having to provide tons of explanations for the claims was a joy (to be a trusted customer). Usually, I have been asked for vet clarification on every treatment and diagnosis! Thank you, Pets Best.

Fast and hassle-free

I have had Pets Best for four dogs, and Pets Best has always made the pain of a sick dog a little less horrible. I chose Pets Best years ago with my first dog because they were one of the few who would insure older dogs. I have nothing but good things to say about Pets Best. They have been wonderful and caring, even sending condolences upon the death of my first two fur-babies.

Best Company by far!

This is hands down the best company to have for pet insurance! They make everything so easy and simple! It really takes the worry away from unfortunate situations that arise with pets. Always quick and I feel as though they truly care and strive to take care of their customers!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
