Pets Best has excellent pet insurance
Pets Best has excellent pet insurance. I have a dog that has chronic illnesses and I am very pleased with the insurance coverage. The claims are processed within 10 days of submission and direct deposit works well for me. The customer care representatives are

This was the first time we have ever needed the service.
This was the first time we have ever needed to use health insurance for our cats. We had an emergency visit to the vet as one of our cats ate some string out of the garbage and it tied up his intestines. Having insurance saved his life, we could not afford the surgery without it. The whole process was simple and fast. When I had questions and called, they were nice and helpful. We have since got a new garbage can with a lid that he can't open.

Great insurance and customer service
Great insurance and customer service. My only complaint and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because they don't cover homeopathic treatments. They do cover unlimited acupuncture however.

Pets Best staff are caring representatives who are helpful and compassionate. Pets Best has been there in my time of need when my dog needed lifesaving surgery. I tell all my friends who are considering pet insurance to check out Pets Best.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
