Terrible insurance for Dane's
I had 1 claim which was denied: she needed pills for a "pre-existing" (6 months old) skin issue (bumps) i understood that. but after 3 years they increased my rates ~%60 60.00USD -> 106.00USD their reason: Breed, Location, Age, Gender. thanks this dog is getting destroyed as it is not worth having it while paying 1200+USD/year (while each year the rate will increase) to help her in her later years. sorry y'all im a veteran and the dog has better insurance than i do, and cost 106USD more... don't worry i will give her plenty of great food and take her everywhere i can; but ultimately this dog will not have insurance after this month, so might as well get her destroyed instead of paying outrageous amounts for "in case shit happens" while watching her suffer for years after hip displacement., or the ultimate heart failure.

Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
