Great Pet Insurance!

Pets Best has really helped us out with our Lab and has been one of the best things we could have done for him! They are very responsive and delivery on their timelines that are predicted. If there is an issue, they reach out to you and explain items instead of just denying them with no explanation. The terms are clearly spelled out so you know what you are getting and paying for. Thanks!

Excellent customer service, ease of submitting a claim and quick turnaround of payment.

My dog has been covered by Pets Best since I rescued him at 11 months old. He's now 7 and has had many health issues. Because of Pets Best I've been able to get him treatment from specialists that I would have struggled to afford without the insurance. Filing a claim is very easy and the reimbursement is usually in my checking account within days of filing. If there's ever a holdup, I've always been informed via email. I highly recommend them.

Couldn't be happier

Pets Best has been amazing. In my puppy's 1st year - we had FOUR claims, but every one was paid out exactly as they promised. I'd heard horror stories of people having problems with other pet insurance, so I was honestly skeptical - but I figured I'd give it a try and I'm super happy. Just renewed for my pup's 2nd year and the cost didn't even increase. Thanks for giving me peace of mind. And here's hoping year 2 will have fewer incidents then his 1st!

some cost not covered

Just not sure why some items were not covered and some paid so little I only received about half the expenses of this procedure. this is a one time procedure

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
