Well, they used to be good...

We left another pet insurance company because their claims service slowed considerably. Have with PetsBest for many years and was impressed with policy and service. However, the last few claims we had they slowed considerably in response and handling the claim. I am quite disappointed, I am not sure what has happened there to have things change so much. After waiting some time for a response, I faxed in a request to hear the status of my claim. I did not get a response and then filed a complaint with the state department of insurance. I started shopping with other companies and will change companies at the conclusion of current policies. Too bad, another good company no longer able to serve as they did in the past.

Skeptical about pet insurance?

At first I was skeptical about getting pet insurance but after years of expensive medical bills for previous pets and now being a first time owner of two purebred kitties, I wanted to be prepared. I’m still in the beginning phases of getting their shots and neuter/spay and I’ve already received my first approved claim! The process is easy and thorough. I would recommend PetsBest to any dedicated pet owner! Thank you!

First time using Pet's Best

First time using Pet's Best. The process was easy and quick. The refund came within a few days. I opted for Pet's Best because my daughter uses it for her dog and said it was a great insurance. We're both very pleased.

Scam of an insurance company!!

Scam of an insurance company. My dog got hit by a car the day the policy started. Freak of nature situation and instead of helping me through this tough time, they denied any coverage. As usual insurance companies have no compassion, feelings or understanding of any of their customers. I also have a second dog and we went for a regular chrck up and guess what that wasn't covered either. I'm paying $100 a dog each month for months now and when I needed PestBest, they simple denied all my claims. Oh and it took them 45days to review your claim so they can deny it. So they make you pay extra months so that you dont lapse to just find out that you'll be denied. when I voiced these opinions to their customer service they don't do anything and when I said I'll just cancel, they said go right ahead. So DO NOT USE PETSBEST/WORST for your pets.

Simply the BEST

When my Sphynx little girl Amelia goes for her annual heart scan for HCM it’s always a bit stressful. I love her so much and never want to see her suffer. Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
