Pets best is the best

Pets best is the best. We got all of our claims reimbursed. We started our insurance the very same day our pup arrived home at 7 weeks. They take some time to get to your claim. I don’t remember the max wait time for me as I never worried about it. All I cared about was if I got my reimbursement as per my plan. I can say roughly 3 - 4 weeks and sometime less than 2 weeks. They are the best in the market in the scope of things they cover for price you pay. I feel they reimburse almost everything unless it is pre exiting I would 100% recommend pets best

I had a great experience!

I had a great experience! The review and processing did take a bit longer than I was expecting, but they did reach out to let me know that they were backed up on claims. Once they fully processed it though, they sent me a very detailed itemized list of what they were paying for and what my expenses were and the deposit didn’t take long at all.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
