Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

My Labrador Bear suffers tremendously from allergies and if it was not for Nationwide pet insurance i would not be able to afford the medication needed! The claim was processed fast and paid electronically fast as well!

I was hesitant to get, and use, pet insurance. My vet doesn’t except insurance directly. So I knew I’d have to file any claims, and deal with the insurance company, directly. I hate doing paperwork and was not looking forward to filing claims. Nationwide changed my mind and exceeded my expectations. They make it SO simple. All I have to do is answer a few simple questions from a pulldown menu on the Nationwide website, take a picture of the receipt from my vet’s office, and upload it. It literally takes like 2-3 minutes. Nationwide also processes and pays the claims on a very timely basis, within days. Very happy I chose Nationwide!

Nationwide Pet insurance is Amazing! We took it out when we first got our puppy who was 12 weeks old. We have the well pet insurance that pays is back for everything after we meet the deductible! I never had insurance when I had my first dog and I’m so glad I have it now!!

Nationwide Pet has been a financial life-saver. We had to do emergency surgery for our boy, and it was 100% covered. I received the money days after I submitted our claim. It let us be able to take care of our dog and make sure he made a full recovery without having to worry about money. I recommend Nationwide to anyone with a pet they love!

Is it necessary to have a deductible? We have two young animals, a cat and a dog. Or, if you purchase the wellness insurance along with the catastrophic, could the deductible be waived? Especially for younger, healthier animals. The insurance is on the high end of other plans, and if there are only well visits for young animals, it becomes expensive, plus with the deductible annually, I am reconsidering whether to continue the premiums.
