Easy to submit claim, quick to review!

Very impressed with Nationwide Pet Insurance! It is very easy to submit claim and they are quick to review! It is an easy process to provide more vet visit information if needed and they very clearly tell you what your claim is missing.

Unbelievable!!

Nationdwide has provided us with peace of mind and hassle free protection for our fur baby.

We did our homework and decided on Nationwide after our first dog had a significant illness and surgery, (that is a pre-existing condition now) my only regret is not getting the insurance earlier although we have still saved hundreds if not thousands for new injuries and illnesses (ear infections). So when we decided to add our newest member there was no question that we would get him covered right away. Having our fur babies covered by Nationwide has given us peace of mind beyond measure. Customer service is hands down a 10/10. Ease of submitting claims and being paid out is a 10/10. We HIGHLY reccommend Nationwide Pet Insurance!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
