Slow reimbursement on claims submitted.

I submitted 5 claims in the last 3 weeks I have yet to be reimbursed! What is your claims department problem. Popr and timely payments. I'm very dissatisfied! Please expedite.

I have been with Nationwide for 6 years…

I have been with Nationwide for 6 years now. Our rates increased by over $76 from last year for the whole health plan. They have increased our rates after the first year that we signed up. And it has happened every year. It takes several emails to customer service to get an answer. As far as claims, I had no issues with them until the pharmacy started to put on the forms that prescription price includes taxes. So I have to submit additional information with each claim now.

The perfect pet insurance company ❤️

I cannot believe there’s actually a Pet Insurance company that not only accepts exotic animals, but makes claims easy to file, pays 90% and gets you your money back quickly. Also, in my case, when my pet passed, they did not make it difficult to cancel. Cynthia, who handled my case, was the most empathetic and helpful person I’ve ever spoken to in insurance. Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
