Nationwide is Amazing

I have had Nationwide pet insurance for the past year and a half for my two Vizslas. I have used it more than I would have liked and every transaction has been handled WAY above my expectation!! I submit my claim by email and I receive a check two weeks later PERIOD!! There has never been an issue, I have never had to appeal ANYTHING! I was a biller for the medical field for 25 years and that was a nightmare!! If regular medical insurance was as easy as pet insurance we would be a very happy country!! I would NOT recommend any other insurance carrier! Deductibles are annual not per episode...I could go on and on!!!

Comprehensive and easy to work with

Nationwide has swiftly and easily provided claims payments and support for all the health needs our 8 month old Goldendoodle puppy has needed, from wellness care to puppy issues (like eating a sock.) Highly satisfied with the insurance.

Nationwide Pet insurance give you comfort knowing you can have your pet seen by a Veterinarian no matter what state you are in.

We were traveling out of state this Christmas season. Izzy was showing signs of an ear infection. By having Nationwide Pet insurance the clinic got her in that day.

Always Easy to Work With

Nationwide always makes this very easy. Our little girl had some knee problems and we were able to take her to the vet and do everything we needed to do to get her better since Nationwide had our backs. Thanks for helping us take care of her!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
