Great Plan

I have had Nationwide now for about 9 months. Once I met the deductible, Nationwide has been very response on reimbursements. So far I'm very happy. I get emails asking how my dog is doing after his vet visit. Great customer service.

Best Investment I Ever Made!

I submitted a claim for surgery for my husky. The claim was approved and payment sent within two weeks. The direct deposit option is wonderful. I am a loyal customer for life!

Happy Kitty=Happy Mommy

I recently took Ice to the vet for his wellness check. Upon completing some testing, the vet diagnosed Ice with a UTI. I filed my claim with Nationwide and it was promptly paid. I only had to pay my $100 deductible. So happy that I have insurance with Nationwide.

Pet Insurance makes life a lot easier.

My very small precious 5 lb. Bella gets into everything, to her everything is a toy that belongs in her mouth. This is more serious with little dogs than it is for large dogs. When something goes wrong I can't wait it out to see if she'll get better, it's sometimes a matter of life and death and with Nationwide Pet Insurance it allows me to make sure my precious girl gets the care she needs in an emergency right away. It gives me a security I wouldn't have without insurance.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
