Great Service
I have never considered insuring a pet before. We decided to insure our rescue dog Sadie and boy are we glad we did. We are even more happy to know we have Nationwide on our side. The claims process is simple, renewals are seamless, we are very happy with the service and the savings. THANK YOU

What would I do without Nationwide Pet Insurance?
I do love this pet insurance product! I like that I no longer have to wait for a check and that the refund goes directly into my bank account. The "overall rating" would have been higher except that the last several claims seem to have taken longer to process.

Happy with the process but seems to take too long.
I have been very happy and glad I have it. The coverage has been very good and fair. I wish I had it on my last dog.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
