Insensitive uncaring money hoarders
I am so disappointed by nationwide today. I submitted a second claim for my cat who was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put down. The claim is not being paid without past medical history, even though she didnt have any health problems prior to this, therefore I have no past medical history. We are being accused of getting a cancer diagnosis before getting her insurance policy which is absolutely ridiculous. She got sick and died within a month, there is no way we could have kept her alive through this ailment.
On top of that after explaining on the phone that she passed away to one of your agents I still got an email saying that nationwide hopes she is feeling better and how glad they were they could help pay. Well she isn’t feeling better thanks for reminding me she’s dead. And you didn’t pay for it. We’re still out $2500 despite getting pet insurance. What peice of mind I had from having insurance is gone and now I am considering canceling my dogs policy.
