Nationwide Pet Insurance is the very best thing I ever did for me,and my fur baby!

I don’t regret it at all.... Wish had gotten with my others pets,always was told it cost to much for anyone. . Than a friend of mine told me she had insurance on her fur baby,and told me how much she was paying! I called you the very next day ! I wish I would have know this twenty years ago... I recommend this to everyone that lives on a fixed income!!! The best gift I gave to my fur baby,and myself!

Love Having Nationwide Pet Insurance

Love having insurance on my boy! Thankfully nothing major has happened but it sure is wonderful having that piece of mind knowing he is covered just in case. Plus it even covers his monthly heart worm treatment. How can you beat that?

Good coverage. I get reimbursed eventually.

The coverage seems great for the wellness plan. Pretty much everything is covered at 90% after deductible. It does take a while to be reimbursed but it does happen eventually. It would be nice if I could submit a claim on my computer rather than having to do it in a third party app, my mail or my fax. It is 2019, maybe Nationwide could focus more on customer ease of use?

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
