Good coverage at a fair price
I have had 4 dogs insured with VPI/Nationwide. Claims have always been reimbursed according to the terms of the policy. It gives me great peace of mind

We are very happy with Nationwide pet insurnce.
We have always received great service regarding our claims. And Malia likes the vets/assistance at her clinic.
She will be seeing the vet in July for her annual check up.

Extremely Pleased with Nationwide Support of My Puppy
I had VPI with my first Yorkie and was pleased. The experience with Nationwide is simply Superb... promptness on handling of claims, responsiveness with calls, ease of processing payments, caring about my puppy!!! I’m so very pleased with Nationwide Insurance.

Best thing I ever did for my dogs!
Great insurance for injury and illnesses for our dogs. The deductible is reasonable and payments are received quickly.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
