Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

My representative was absolutely great. Loved him. If I could review him separately, he'd get 5-stars without question. He was very personable and helpful throughout the whole process and took the time to explain anything I had questions on. However, I feel that the options for pet insurance plans have significantly dropped in quality and coverage, especially after having my grandfathered-in whole pet w/ wellness policies (3 pets) cancelled (like so many others did, I'm sure). Am I still going to insure my pets? Yes, because I love and care for them. But am I also greatly upset by the severe downgrade in coverage and care? Yes. I cannot express in words the sheer level of disappointed I am with this shift. This has definitely taken a shift toward accident-only coverage and it's highly disappointing that my pets are now treated more like a car than a living being.

My agent was Elaine and she was very thorough, very professional and very kind. I called to only get a quote, but after speaking with her, I purchased pet insurance for both of my birds. Elaine is an asset to your company. Very pleased!
