Excellent

From day one NWPI has been nothing short of wonderful to us, our fur child has been a bit of a trouble maker. He has visited his vet/their emergency dept a few times and every time Nationwide has been there to help us with the cost. We can not thank you enough.

If you get a dog, get nationwide!

Having adequate per insurance is as crucial to your pet's well-being as having the proper diet and exercise. I have referred Nationwide to all my fellow dog-owning friends and they have thanked me without end.

Nationwide is the best!

Every time I have needed Nationwide, they are there to help. Customer service is wonderful. I had one claim that paperwork got lost in transit, but once they found the paperwork, our claim was processed quickly.

It’s been very easy to submit claims no hassle very helpful

so far I have used our claim now twice it’s been very easy we have a wellness benefit so that’s what we went in for so far just check ups and shots and flea treatment but still that is very important when they are little and want to make sure they stay healthy

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
