Long wait to get money back
I had issues submitting my claim from my phone so I tried from my iPad and still had issues so I ended up having to do it from my computer. I no longer have a computer so hopefully the claim submission process from a mobile device has been resolved.
My biggest issue with my first claim is that it took almost two months before I received my money back. The site says most are done within 30 days. Another issue I had is that I was the one having to call in to check on the status. After the first few days of submitting my claim, I called in to make sure everything was OK only to be told I needed to submit more information. Had I not called in, I would’ve never known. If additional information was needed, I should have been notified by the company — it shouldn’t be up to the customer to call in and then be told. If it wasn’t for me calling in this claim probably would’ve taken even longer to get resolved.

This insurance is great! The claims are always paid quickly and my only regret is that I didn't sign up for it as soon as we got the two dogs!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Exclusions
