Your Support of my Fur Babies means a lot to me.

Thank you for watching over us and our furbaby Manny. Unfortunately Manny passed away two days ago from his illness. I appreciate your invite to the Vethelpline and will keep it in mind should we need some help in the future. In this situation, I'm not sure who could have helped our favorite friend but its nice to know all of you were here watching over us and that perhaps we were in your thoughts and prayers. Cancer in animals is a devastating thing to endure. I wish there was something we could have done to prevent Manny's tumor and hope now we don't have to go thru this again with the rest of our fur kids. Yours in kind, Lynda Koszewski

Expensive now that he is old.

When Dempsey was younger and no claims (first 5 years) it was affordable. Now that he is older and we need the coverage the monthly rate increased by $30 so no longer affordable. Claims turnaround quick.

Don't own a pet without Nationwide

Nationwide has been such a blessing. Our American Mastiff, Olive, was diagnosed with ITP in July. She was hospitalized for two days and will be on medication for the unforeseen future. Nationwide has not skipped a beat. Thank you for the peace of mind knowing that we don't have to hesitate to give her the best care.

So glad I have pet insurance.

I have had great success with Nationwide pet insurance. It is very simple submitting claims online and the turn around time for payment is quick. I do feel the monthly rates have increased too much!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
