Amazing Experience
Unfortunately after only having our puppy a few weeks he was hit by a car and had to spend 4 days in the hospital inclusive of 30 hours of oxygen therapy to ensure there was no respiratory or neorologic damage before having orthopedics assess the fracture in his front right leg , Thankfully he pulled through and his surgery went well and he’s back home with us ! I had had my policy 3 days but was blown away how easy the process was to file a claim and had 90 pct of the 6k vet bill not only covered but direct deposited into my bank account in less than a week ! Customer service was also very empathetic to our ordeal

Repeat customer
This is my second policy with nationwide. My previous dog has passed away, so I bought a new policy for my puppy. I’m very pleased with the coverage and reimbursement we get when needed.

Great customer service!
Great customer service. My only issue is that my monthly premiums have significantly increased for the upcoming year. I am not happy about that.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
