The claim processing time and ease of use has improved a lot from last year.

The overall process has improved dramatically from when I filed my first claim last year. Submitting the clAim through the app is easy and quick and the processing of the claims are much faster now. The electronic payment method is great.

Great coverage, user friendly

I am so happy that I purchased Nation Wide Insurance for my dog. Nation Wide has made it so simple to issue a claim via the VitusVet App. I simply take a photo of the invoice with the app and submit the claim. Within 24 hours I receive an email verification that Nation Wide has received the claim. I have already recommended Nation Wide to several of my friends that have pets.

Easiest insurance I have ever dealt with.

Nationwide has been great to deal with. Their on line claim web site is easy to use and claims are paid quickly. I recommend this insurance to everyone I meet with a pet.

Quick, easy and convenient clean service

As I stated in the title, it’s very easy to work with you. It was easy to set up the policy and the claims were simple to process through my cell phone. The claim checks were received quickly as well.

Great insurance!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
