So much peace of mind, with excellent service.

Nationwide is an Extension of ourselves

After losing our 9 yr old Pointer in June, we got our Pointer puppy in August. Once getting home at 10 weeks, we had some some initial big challenges being exposed to Kennel Cough, and some other small challenges. Nationwide's team has given us great reason to be believers in their care and coverage. We appreciate all the guidance you provide, and the follow up. Thank you! We know our Puppy (and ourselves too) are in the best possible program of Insurance coverage! Thank you!

Grateful for the awesome coverage and service

Thank God for our insurance coverage with Nationwide for our 14-year-old furbaby who needed an operation for her torn ACL. We have been able to take care of her and rest easy, financially, because Nationwide was there. Too many times an owner who doesn't have the right insurance or can't afford it, is forced to euthanize their four-legged family members. I am grateful that we have been able to maintain our insurance payments because we would not have been to afford this surgery, not to mention the many times that we have been covered for yearly health maintenance for both of our "girls."

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
