A necessary worthwhile monthly expense
This is my second pet with Nationwide. I feel safe that if my pet has an emergency, I have coverage... a peace of mind.

I am extremely satisfied
Our puppy got sick and we had to take her to the emergency vet. The emergency vet then wanted us to follow up with our regular vet, who tan tests. The bills were beginning to pile up! Nationwide paid pur claims quickly and fairly. Our puppy is feeling much better! Buying the insurance was a good decision and I am grateful for their quick response.

Prompt and clear responses to claims filed
I am very pleased with the responses I have received for the claims I have filed. The explanations are always clear and amazingly timely .

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
