Expensive, but if you want the best you pay for the best Nationwide Insurance.

My plan is not only wellness care, it is care of emergencies, Veterinary emergency care, yearly dental cleanings, and shots. The hotline to ask for advice when there is an accident or any other concerns. Expensive, yes, but the care we give our pets today is exceptional.

If you love your puppy or kitty, make your vet easy to afford with Nationwide

Having one or more dogs as family members for decades and prioritizing their medical needs (whether or not we had veterinary medical insurance), one of the saddest conditions we have seen is when some other pet ownder is not able (or willing) to financially support the veterinary needs of their pet. Nationwide makes it easy for people who love their pet. If you want to provide a long, healthy, and enjoyable life, make veterinary medicine a priority. Nationwide makes this priority easy and surprisingly affordable. The more the pet matures, the more you -- and your pet -- will benefit from Nationwide coverage.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
