You are awesome

Lola recently underwent surgery and you were all with me 100% of the time from asking for advice, to my other dog inadvertently eating some of Lola's medication to paying my claim. I especially want to thank the CS ladies I spoke with on several occasions they were incredibly helpful and both went the extra mile. I hope you have record of my conversations and who they were because you should be thankful you employ people like that. Me, Lola and Piper want to thank you.

Impressive!

I have very very impressed with how quickly Nationwide responds to a claim. It is a very easy process to submit a claim. I’m so glad I have my pet insurance through them.

Great coverage

Have had coverage for a couple of years. Claim processing was slow in the beginning, but now is amazingly quick, Last fall we found one of our dogs had cancer, he had surgery and sadly in January we lost him. Nationwide promptly reimbursed for claims. We recently decided to adopt a puppy and I have him already signed up for coverage. It’s nice to know you don’t have to make decisions on treatments and basic care based on expense alone.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
