Every time I submit a claim
Every time I submit a claim, it takes longer and longer. The average is 7-8 weeks.
This last one is going on 3 months. The claim was first submitted in 3 weeks after the visit. Met Life claimed they received a blank form from me. Did a human see this and contact us? No, that accounted for 3 week delay. Three mistakes where made costing a total of 8 weeks. Finally the claim was settled and it took 9 days for it to get into the mail. Note, the email they had on file was not ours. The email link was for payment type (Mail or direct deposit). I would drop this company in a minute if my 13 year old dog was healthy. Most companies do not insure animals with pre-exiting conditions. So I am stuck.
It is either this or no insurance. I do not recommend this insurance company. Look elsewhere.
