Expensive
The process is nice and seamless but started off paying less than $50 a month to now paying over $80 a month in just 3 years with my employer discount . The year to year increase is insane when I have a medium size pup, 4 yo with no health issues. I haven't had the time to research other insurance companies so I continue to pay unfortunately.

Excellent Service
The time from i first submitted the claim, spoke to someone about missing documentation, and receiving the funds was very short. Everyone i a poke to was courteous and genuinely seemed to care for the well-being of my pets. 100% the best.

Glitchy
My dog is on continuous medication - gabapentin. I have gotten refusals because I have not included a picture of the bag of the medication, bottle of the medication, ect. It’s in his records that he’s on this medication continuously.
The app has also been very glitchy. I have to open and close it at least 3-5 times to make a claim

So, the gap between submitting a claim and receiving payment is usually super quick. Also, compared to other pet insurance plans, Metlife offers reimbursement for a lot of conditions and procedures.
