Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am very pleased with the care I received from Healthy Paws, both in the speed with which my claims were processed, and in the personal dialog I had with their customer service representatives. When our 9-year-old Sheltie was found to have both liver and gallbladder issues, I wasn't sure how much of her veterinary bills would be covered, since she has some disclosed pre-existing conditions. However, I was encouraged to find that Healthy Paws very promptly and fairly evaluated the claims for these new health issues, and made payment on the relevant diagnostic tests and treatment. They made the process of submitting the claim forms very simple, and immediately acknowledged that they were working on them. Reimbursement checks have already arrived. During the whole process I felt that they really cared about the level of service they were providing! And I'm happy to say that my dog Sylvie is doing much better!

In 3 weeks time I had 4 claims. 3 of them was for 1 cat and 1 was for my other cat. It seems that both are having respetory problems. Had x-rays blood work and med administered. I am so pleased how the claims were handled. they waste no time in processing your claims. I am so happy I picked Healthy Paws Ins. It is the best decision I have ever made. Doris( Mass)

This pet insurance is the best! They were so easy to use and fast with reimbursing me. I always had a check with in a week of filing a claim. The claims are very simple to use too. I know first hand. You see my sweet Coco was a sick little dog the last month of her life. She just wasnt acting like herself.I had to keep taking her to the vet and were finally sent to a specialist. Coco needed a neurologist and had an MRI done. Our sweet Coco passed away during the procedure. They found a mass in her head...cancer. Let me say that with out Healthy Paws pet insurance I could have never afford the medical cared and precedures for Coco. They truly took care of everything quickly. They are very sympathetic to our lose as well. I appreciate all of the staff and everything they provided us. When our hearts have healedand the time is right to add to our family again I will choose Healthy Paws Pet Insurance again.Thank you from our hearts

Our perfectly healthty 2 year old cat started acting strange, crying, spitting, then eating ravenously. We didn't realize what was going on until he had a full blown seizure in front of us. We thought he was choking or having a heart attack.We brought him to our vet, who believed it could be epilepsy, then referred us to a neurologist for an MRI to rule out a brain tumor. Mc Gee was diagnosed with epilepsy, which is manageable with meds, and he is back to his usually happy self, and hasn't had an episode in the last 3 weeks. Healthy Paws processed his claim of approx $3600 the same day I filed, and paid to the penny all that McGee was entitled to, approx $3200. I was really surprised, as I never had a pet insurance claim until this one. If only people could be provided such great health insurance. I've had numerous emails from the employees checking on McGee and sending him best wishes. What a great company. I'm telling all my friends to insure their pets with Healthy Paws. They are just awesome.

My Vet actually gave me a hard time while I tried to get my dog's records. Healthy Paws intervened and told my Vet exactly what was needed and it all worked out in the end. My check as sent out quickly and an email followed to check on my dog's recovery. I would highly recommend this insurance company, they care.
