Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have not had any other insurance for my dogs other than Healthy Paws so I cannot compare but I can tell you that on the only claim (thank god) that i had to make; they were professional, very responsive, caring and the entire thing was taken care of and fully processed in a matter of a couple of weeks. then they followed up to see how our dog was feeling. It is never something you WANT to take advantage of but when and if you do; I cant say enough good things.

I GOT HEALTHY PAWLS FOR MY JACK RUSSELL BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY SAID RAISE IN COST WOULD BE SMALL. I AM ON DISABILITY AND WATCH MY FUNDS CLOSE EACH MONTH. I GOT THE BILL TO DAY FOR $35.00 MORE FOR ONE YEAR.MY PUP HEALTHY AND I HAVE NEVER FILED A CLAIM. AT THIS RATE MY THE TIME SHE BECOMES A SENIOR PUP THE COST WOULD BE OVER $200.00 FOR HER AND YOU WOULD BE FORCED TO KEEP IT AS NO OTHER PET INSURANCE WOULD GIVE YOU INSURANCE AS SHE WOULD BE TO OLD. JACK RUSSELL CAN LIVE UP TO 16YEARS OLD. I SHOULD OF NEW BECAUSE THE OWNER USE TO BE WITH TRUPANION AND THEY DID THE SAME TRICK AND I DROPPED THEM FAST. THE PRICE IS CHEAP THE FIRST YEAR AND AFTER THAT ----LOOK OUT VERY MISLEADING!

Our dog loves to eat everything insight, she got very will, we took her to the vet to see if she ingested something foreign. She was dehydrated, lethargic, stomach inflamed, vomiting, diarrhea and the list goes on. The vet said we have to keep a close eye on her for the next 24 hours. I informed her that we have pet insurance, I suggested that maybe she should stay in their care overnight to see how she progressed. We picked her up the next day she was almost herself, still tired, but thankfully OK. If we did not have pet insurance we would have taken her home, and possibly a worse result. Yesterday I received an email asking how Molly was, I could not believe they would go out of their way to inquire on her condition. I honesty have to say they are an awesome company who truly care about your pet.

Great customer service and extremely prompt turnaround time for my first claim. I'm delighted with my choice of carriers. Healthy Paws covered 90% of my pup's medical bills and, what's better, they were extremely nice when I contacted them, and even contacted me after the claim was processed, inquiring as to my pet's recovery. I would recommend them to anyone who has a pet and isn't independently wealthy.
