Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We have 2 dogs that we love more than anything. When they needed emergency medical care (at the same time), the vet described the course of treatment and said "cost may become an issue." At such a stressful time, it was so comforting to know that they were covered by Healthy Paws. Knowing that emergency care would not be cost prohibitive, we could focus on getting our girls healthy. When all was said and done, we submitted their claims to Healthy Paws. I must admit that I was prepared to have to "argue" about certain parts of the bill, but on the contrary, we were reimbursed exactly as expected and described in their policy terms. They processed the claims within 5 days and we are expecting our reimbursement check in the mail. Anyone with a pet they consider family should have pet insurance, and I recommend Healthy Paws based on their customer service.

We have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for a few years now and love it. I did A LOT of research on insurance and really narrowed it down based on customer service. Every instance I have actually speaking to a customer service representative is a pleasure. Not once have I ever gotten an attitude but more of an understanding of the emotional situation that we were going through. I am very happy that we went with Healthy Paws and have suggested it to many of my friends and family members. It has saved us a lot over the years and with the plan we chose it is barely noticeable and definitely worth it for our 2 dogs.

We have a very unlucky dog. In the 6 years of her life, she has recovered from eating a death-cap mushroom, mange, eye infections, paw cysts, just to name a few struggles. Luckily for us, our vet recommended Healthy Paws insurance on our first puppy visit. Healthy Paws' has always supported our claims without any hassles. Their claim process has been easy to initiate, and they are quick to process claims. I highly recommend Heathy Paws -- our new puppy is also insured!

I have had dogs my entire life and I had never considered getting insurance for them. A couple of years ago we had an American Bulldog rupture a disc in his back and we spent over $40,000 on him. A few months after we lost our sweet Hank we adopted a puppy from the shelter. We decided to get insurance on her and Cali, our 5 year old rescue. We had never had a problem with Cali but after what we had been thru we decided better safe than sorry. Fast forward about 5 months after getting the insurance Cali started limping. We took her to the vet and she had ruptured her ACL. She had surgery on March 13th and I received my refund from Healthy Paws on March 16th! I was shocked! Filing the claim was easy. The people are amazing at Healthy Paws...they called after her surgery to see how she was doing and I got an email on Saturday checking on her again. I have never written a review for any goods or services that I have used but I felt compelled to write one for Healthy Paws. They are AMAZING!!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is absolutely amazing. It is so easy to submit a claim by just snapping a picture on the app (takes me 10 seconds, I do it before I leave the Vet!) Recently, my pup had an emergency, and it was of course quite expensive. Thank goodness she is okay, and thank goodness I had insurance. They let me know my claim was approved within 72 hours, and I received my check one week later, before I even had to pay off my credit card. Even more impressive, I got an email from Healthy Paws checking on my pup after her stomach issues. I cannot recommend Healthy Paws enough.
