Lady from care team was kind and helpful

I just signed our 2 boys up for furkin the other day. I just did it online but I had to call and change something and they had me at the recording, “ you sit and stay and we’ll go get your furkin insurance” 😂. Beyond that brilliant bit, the lady I talked to was sweet and kind and dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently. Very happy with our decision so far.

Janet on care team was great and experienced

I was undecided which pet insurance provider I was going to choose out of the 4 I was looking at. I spoke with Janet and she was able to explain to me the differences between providers and coverage. She also offered practical information from her experience in the pet health care field. Furkin was the lead prior to calling in but it was Janet who convinced me I had made the correct choice in providers.

Monthly Cost

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age, gender, and postal code, with premiums averaging $55/month.  

Coverage

Comprehensive accident & illness coverage with up to 80% reimbursement. Use any licensed vet in Canada or the U.S. All plans include coverage for exam fees & taxes, 24/7 telehealth powered by Vetsdirect Limited, and over $3000 in additional pet owner support benefits annually.

Payout Limits

Up to $20,000 in coverage annually.

Deductible

As low as $100 annually

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 7 weeks and under 14 years old to enroll. Once enrolled, coverage will continue for as long as the pet remains enrolled.

Waiting Period

For Accidents – 48 Hours For Illnesses – 14 Days For Cruciate Ligament Conditions – 180 Days
